“Cerámicas Cuatro Palomas has had a sole interlocutor throughout the process in order to speed up the process of obtaining the ETA”
We have issued a new ETA, European Technical Assessment, for the Gracco Surfaces ventilated façade kit
ETA 20/0346 evaluates the performance, mainly in terms of mechanical performance and safety, of the ventilated façade kit marketed by Cerámicas Cuatro Palomas and made with its agglomerated stone panels. This ETA facilitates the market launch of the Gracco Surfaces façade.
The assessment has been drawn up by TECNALIA as a Technical Assessment Body (TAB), designated for the assessment of innovative products under the framework of the Construction Products Regulation (EU) 305/2011, and is a member of the European Organisation for Technical Assessment (EOTA).
Tests performed at TECNALIA's laboratories
The Gracco Surfaces façade has been subjected to different tests at TECNALIA's structural safety laboratory, as prescribed by EAD 090020-00-0404 "Kits for external wall claddings made of agglomerated stone".
The tests carried out include the wind load tests or the mechanical strength tests on the different components of the kit. Other characteristics have also been analysed, such as the reaction to fire or the durability of the components, which has enabled a complete characterisation of the façade to be carried out.
