Digital Enterprise Show 2022

“The largest European professional forum focused on innovation and digitalisation will bring together more than 450 high-level speakers and 12,000 participants in Malaga”

At the conference, we will talk about the digital twin as a virtual replica of the city's main elements and critical infrastructures, connected to databases and sensors

INKOLAN, a group made up of most of the major public service operators, is participating in the Digital Enterprise Show alongside TECNALIA in the Smart Cities & Urban Mobility Forum, with the conference on Digital Twin of the city to value urban Infrastructures, to be held on 15 June at 5.15pm.

One of the main instruments for the materialisation and specification of the generation and extraction of value from data in the smart city is the generation of a hybrid, physical and digital ecosystem of the city through the concept of a digital twin.

At the conference, we will talk about the digital twin as a virtual replica of the city's main elements and critical infrastructures, connected to databases and sensors. This model of the city and its processes allows scenarios to be analysed, modelled, simulated and predicted or hypotheses to be developed to better support decision-making processes in urban planning and in the management of public infrastructures and services, in multiple domains, and in an integrated way.

Intelligent Data Model

INKOLAN and TECNALIA have developed an intelligent data model to contribute to the development of smart city services or initiatives. The data model has been implemented in two pilot cases in the cities of Bilbao and Zaragoza, in collaboration with their city councils:

  • Bilbao: sustainability viewer, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations.
  • Zaragoza: Data analysis model, in a commercial area, for the assessment of impact on trade.
