The European Union’s Clean Hydrogen Partnership is a public-private partnership that supports research, development and demonstration of clean hydrogen technologies in order to accelerate their deployment and contribute to European climate neutrality.
The initiative brings together industry and the research community and is one of the main European instruments to develop a strong and innovative hydrogen ecosystem.
Clean Hydrogen Partnership Ranking
The ranking places TECNALIA as the leading Spanish organisation in terms of involvement in European hydrogen projects, consolidating its role as a key player in the European hydrogen R&D&I ecosystem.
- For more than 20 years, TECNALIA has been actively involved in the research and development of hydrogen technologies, working closely with industry to accelerate innovation, technological validation and industrial deployment of advanced solutions.
- TECNALIA participates in projects across the entire hydrogen value chain, including production, storage, distribution and industrial and mobility applications, contributing directly to European decarbonisation targets.
It currently has five main lines of research and technological development: new generation electrolysers, hydrogen safety, durability and compatibility of materials with hydrogen, storage and uses.
