We work on a standardisation strategy for interactive robots in the field of manufacturing, health and consumers: inbots

28 April 2020

Legislation, ethics, companies and end users must be prepared to obtain an ecosystem in which robotics plays a key role

The main challenge facing INBOTS, Inclusive Robotics for a Better Society, lies in obtaining a clear commitment and communication between all of the parties involved and optimising the results of the coordination and support actions. It focuses mainly on interactive robots, which we define as any robot that interacts closely with humans.

The objective is to create a community centre that brings together experts to debate and create a responsible research and innovation paradigm in robotics. The initiative will act as a platform to share experiences and accelerate technology transfer, regulations and legislation in the field.

This platform establishes a work synergy between four pillars covering all of the parties interested in interactive robotics: technical experience; business experience; ethical, legal and socio-economic experience; as well as end users, policy makers and the general public.
