Tests on electrical vehicle charging systems

We carry out pre-qualification tests to ensure the quality of the electrical vehicle charging systems in AC and DC.

 We are able to test all charging modes: Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3 and Mode 4.

We offer the following testing services on electrical vehicle charging systems:

  • Mechanical impact
  • Degree of protection (IPXX)
  • Clearance and creepage distances
  • Protection against electrical discharges
  • Effective earthing continuity
  • Temperature increase verification
  • Maximum and minimum operating temperatures
  • Short-circuit resistance
  • Verification of dielectric properties
  • Verification of charging sequence (Pilot Control-PWM)

We have the facilities to test Mode 4 charging systems up to a power of 300kW.

 We carry out tests under the ENAC nº4/148 laboratory accreditation:
