“TECNALIA presents the services provided and the technological developments applied to electricity grids in which the Technology Centre is immersed.”

Digitalisation, Decarbonisation, Decentralisation, and Democratisation. These 4Ds drive the current energy transition to a decarbonised economy.

From 29th November to 1st December, TECNALIA has been present at ENLIT 2022, the leading trade fair on smart grids held in Frankfurt. The event combined an extensive exhibition of products and solutions for this sector with multiple conferences in its “Summit,” as well as various presentations and panels grouped in the “Digitalisation,” “Decarbonisation,” “Decentralisation,” and “Democratisation” hubs; the 4Ds that are driving the current energy transition towards a decarbonised economy.

Our Digital Lab Services and Networks and Energy System teams focused on two lines of activity at this fair: the certification of smart meters and equipment for substations and transformation centres; and the development of technologies for the optimal management of a flexible electricity grid and its digitalisation.

TECNALIA to set up a stand in the Basque Country Pavilion.

During these three intense days, TECNALIA has been present with its own stand in the Basque Country Pavilion. TECNALIA has presented the services we provide and the technological developments applied to electricity grids in which we are immersed. TECNALIA held multiple meetings with partners and customers to establish new avenues of collaboration and to outline new business opportunities.

We also participated as speakers in the sessions “Smart Grids Basque Country digitalised value chain in focus” and “Interactive Think Tank: Countdown to 2030,” as well as in the dissemination activity of the European PLATOON project.
