H2SITE is selected by Intelectium as one of the benchmark companies in the Cleantech sector

TECNALIA's subsidiary, H2SITE, has been identified by Intelectium, a Spanish startup and SME funding consultancy firm, as one of 12 innovative companies that are revolutionising the Cleantech sector, companies that use new technologies with the aim of achieving a positive environmental impact.

H2SITE is a new technology-based company located in Bizkaia, which has had the support of Bizkaia Provincial Council since its inception. It focuses on small and medium-scale, high-purity, low-cost, decentralised hydrogen generation using catalytic membrane reactors. It is the result of a collaboration between TECNALIA, French company ENGIE, the University of Eindhoven (TUe) and the Deep Tech Venture Builder TECNALIA Ventures.

Startups in the cleantech sector cover a wide and diverse range of topics. This is a business sector that reduces negative environmental impacts by improving energy efficiency promoting the circular economy, sustainable mobility and smart cities, among others.
