We reproduce a factory 4.0 with our own “digital twin” at the 30th BIEMH

24 May 2018

The digital revolution has allowed connections between machines to become a reality in the machine tool industry. Our aim is to foster the competitiveness of companies by implementing real 4.0 technological solutions

As with other editions, we will also be at the BIEMH 2018 trade show (Exhibition Hall 1 - Stand F15), as a key agent when it comes to deploying Industry 4.0 across the market and bringing about DIGITALISATION as a stepping stone for competitiveness.

This new model of Industry 4.0 is centred around data, and therefore requires profound transformation based on the smart integration of ICT at the very heart of the companies. In the machine tool industry, the digital revolution has meant that the connections between machines, managing the distances of such connections, and incorporating artificial systems and intelligence have all become reality. As a reference centre we offer advanced manufacturing solutions, implementing real 4.0 technological solutions in the industry to foster competitiveness through digitalisation. At the 30th edition of the Machine Tool Biennial we will be displaying innovations and technologies pioneered by us in the field of digitalisation to achieve zero-defect products, to increase process efficiency, to optimise resource and energy consumption, and to maximise safety in industrial environments. To do this, a 4.0 stand will be the new home for the latests trends in industry digitalisation: data monitoring and analytics, maintenance 4.0 for industrial assets and components, artificial vision, a display of “digital twins”, secure data traceability and flexible robotics.

This time our presence will also go further afield, as we will be actively taking part in the Basque Government’s Basque Industry stand; we will be displaying a cloud monitoring system, an advanced robotics remote handling system with haptic feedback to handle objects with high precision, and a part made using additive manufacturing technology. We will also have a stand in the Maintenance Hall, where we will show various 4.0 monitoring systems and we will be present at our clients’ stands displaying the developments made together, and as always, our main stand will be in Hall 1. This stand is divided into 4 areas, showcasing various innovations and technologies that contribute to the digital transformation of the industry. The first area represents the “real” working environment of a 4.0 factory and its “digital twin”; the second will focus on 3D manufacturing, showing how it is from the inside using a hologram; the third area will have a tool that companies can use to design their 4.0 strategy; and the fourth area revolves around training and the profiles that industry 4.0 needs.
