We are Notified Body No. 1292 for the CE marking of construction products.
We act as a Notified Body under the framework of the Construction Product Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 (CPR), for the CE marking of all products covered by a harmonised standard, which is an essential requirement for their access to the European market.
Our services as a Notified Laboratory include over one hundred harmonised standards, covering a wide range of construction products and systems, whereby we carry out the Initial Type Tests, among which the following can be highlighted:
- Adhesives and Sealants.
- Thermal insulation.
- Road traffic noise reducing devices.
- Curtain walling.
- Flexible sheets for waterproofing.
- Mortar.
- Industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates.
- Doors and windows.
- Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures.
- Wood-based panels.
- Glass in building.
We are also a Product Certification Body and a Factory Production Control Certification Body, notification of which is related to European Assessment Documents (EAD), which are the base for European Technical Assessments (ETA).
This notification, together with the capacities of our laboratories and the appointment as a Technical Assessment Body (TAB), means that we can offer all of the services that a company which voluntarily wishes to assess its product, in order to obtain an ETA and the subsequent CE marking.
